I like this article that came out this week on Forbes.com. The article captures what I witnessed about 3 years ago with Salesforce.com really becoming a platform vs an application in the marketplace and how Salesforce.com is winning the cloud wars so to speak. The power of what Force.com can do for a large enterprise is immense and there is more to come at Dreamforce this November.  With Force.com, its easier to integrate and a great replacement for your MS SharePoint and spreadsheet nightmares of the past.

Another interesting area in this Forbes piece I enjoyed was related going to Dreamforce  in San Francisco and the approach mentioned.  Louis suggest’s hanging out with the developers and attending the developer sessions to see where the platform is headed in the future, vs other paths you can take at the conference.  What a good idea!

Another great reason to go to Dreamforce this year. Hope to see you there.
